MIPS 2010 welcomes security industry experts.
From April 19 to 22, the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya will host the XVI International Exhibition “Security, Safety and Fire Protection”/MIPS 2010.
MIPS has been held since 1995 and is the leading security exhibition in Russia and the CIS countries.
For many years, this event has marked the beginning of the spring-summer season of business activity for security market specialists.
The exhibition will be held in two pavilions (No. 1 and No. 8) and will combine four thematic sections: technical safety equipment; CCTV and surveillance; fire safety and emergency equipment; smart cards, ID technologies, banking equipment and information security.
“The main feature of MIPS 2010 is the unique composition of participants.
All leading industry players will be present at the exhibition.
In total there are about 300 domestic and foreign companies, while 30% of exhibitors will be presented for the first time,” says exhibition director Yulia Rodikova.

MIPS 2010 participants represent more than 20 countries.
This year the exhibition will feature national groups from Germany, Great Britain, China and Taiwan.
“According to surveys of representatives of foreign companies, MIPS is the ideal platform for foreign companies entering the Russian market,” notes Ilya Sobolev, director of fire and security exhibitions at ITE Group PLC (London).
This year a number of premieres are being prepared at MIPS: new developments will be presented at almost every stand. This is especially interesting considering that the participants include world-famous developers.
Already now, specialists can get acquainted with the products that will be presented at the exhibition using the electronic “New Products Digest” of MIPS 2010 participants, published weekly in industry electronic media and on the exhibition website.
International exhibition and conference “Intelligent cards and information technology security systems”/Cardex & IT Security will be held for the second year as a specialized section of the MIPS exhibition in Hall No. 3 (Pavilion No. 8). Its participants will demonstrate the latest developments and advanced solutions in the field of ID technologies, information security, smart cards, banking equipment.

A rich business program awaits visitors to the exhibition .
The emphasis of the MIPS conference will be on the safety of underground structures and issues of ensuring the safety of multifunctional, technically complex and potentially dangerous buildings and structures at the stage of their full operation.
Experts will discuss the latest developments of companies and changes in regulatory legal framework in force for technically complex, unique and potentially dangerous objects. A separate event will be dedicated to fire safety.
Among the issues that experts will touch upon are the regulatory framework of the industry, changes in it, the relationship between existing standards and those coming into force.
Presentations of specific technical solutions of companies will take a separate place in the program.
As part of the MIPS 2010 business program, it is planned to hold an open offsite meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Moskomarkhitektura. One of the traditional MIPS events is the “Best Innovative Product” technical solutions competition, which has proven itself to be the main tool for promoting the latest achievements in the security industry.
For example, as a result of the competition, the best products receive recommendations for inclusion in the Register of Technologies Recommended for Use at Moscow Facilities and in the Register of New Technologies of the Moscow Government.
Every year at the competition more than 40 companies present their innovations.
Even now, specialists can register for a free visit to the exhibition and receive an electronic ticket on the MIPS website.
Representatives of the most remote regions of our country that for some reason will not be able to visit MIPS, thanks to the joint action of ITE and DSSL, will be able to take a virtual tour of the exhibition.
A daily video report will appear on the exhibition website, including reports from participants' stands, interviews with executives of leading companies.
