The overwater alarm goes off when someone comes too close to the pool. This type of alarm has its advantages because it can alert you before your child gets into the water as soon as he gets close to it.
The only problem is false alarms. If your pool is not closed, then the wind may bring debris to it or an animal may come close. In this case, the signal will also work. False alarms can be avoided by using underwater alarm systems.
